I WANT TO TELL THE AFRICAN STORY WITH MY MUSIC - YOUNG LOCHI, A US BASED GHANAIAN RAPPER



Young Lochis, a young Liberian of Ghanaian decent who resides in New York is sprouting into the music industry with sick tunes.

 21 year old Kwame Twum has gained prominence among his peers in the states after releasing Liberian Girls Beautiful, Baby Boo, Onaana, Batawuji, Ye sei ho, hero and he intends to descend down here with his artistry.


"Many of my colleagues at the College of Staten Island and in my hood really appreciate my works and I intend to test the waters in Ghana my roots. I know it will not be easy but I will do my possible best to ensure that I can push my brand because I do good music" he noted.



He however reechoed the late Komla Dumor's words 'The African story must be told by an African' indicating that he intends to portray African rich heritage through his music.

"I want to use my music to tell the story of African heroic and interesting stories as well as debunk the negative notion the west have about us. I hope by this one day I will be at the Grammys, Oscars and BETs" Young Lochi hinted.

 Young Lochi is currently pursuing Computer Technology at College of Staten Island in New York. The versatile artiste who is also a soubd engineer is coming up with a new banger titled My Girl which features Icee the Rymer.
